During my 30s and 40s, I struggled with a plethora of menopausal symptoms, including fatigue, insomnia, mood swings, hot flashes, and night sweats. I found myself confused, frustrated, and utterly clueless about the turmoil unfolding within my body. Adding to my distress, I developed fibrocystic breast tissue and I was deemed high risk for breast cancer, according to my doctors. My medical team, encompassing a Breast Specialist, Gynecologist, Primary Care Physician, and Radiologist, all echoed the same sentiment: these symptoms are a “normal” part of being a woman, and the best I could do was to continue monitoring my condition.
No alternative solutions or hope for relief were offered, leaving me feeling overwhelmed and helpless as my breast cysts continued to multiply. Refusing to accept that there are no solutions, I took matters into my own hands and embarked on a quest for answers. My persistence paid off when I uncovered that my hormones were imbalanced and my estrogen levels were higher than my progesterone which were driving my symptoms. Armed with this knowledge, I discovered that it was possible to rebalance my hormones naturally through targeted dietary and lifestyle modifications. Dedicated to my healing journey, I not only alleviated my symptoms but also transformed my health.
Within a few weeks, my energy returned, I slept better, felt less bloated, and experienced fewer hot flashes. A few months later, my fibrocystic breast tissues reduced. I reclaimed my body and felt like myself again.
As a hormone and wellness coach with nearly 10 years of experience, I’ve helped hundreds of professional women lose weight, regain energy, improve sleep, balance hormones, and transform their health. Inspired by my own journey, I created the Five-Step Hormone Rebalance Program and several whole food detox programs.
Now I’m in my 50s thriving, feeling better than I ever did and I’m living my best life. Inspired by my own transformation, I developed a 5-Step Framework, drawing from the very strategies that I used for my healing. This framework has since empowered hundreds of perimenopausal and menopausal women to reclaim their health, breaking free from the cycle of frustration and overwhelm.
Over the years, I trained in advanced coaching skills, nutrition, hormones, and yoga. I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where I studied over 100 dietary theories with leading experts. I’m a Certified Yoga Instructor currently studying to become a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and have taken hormone courses with Dr. Sara Gottfried.
I contributed to the best-selling book “Building Beyond the 9 to 5” and write for Gaia’s Essence Women’s Magazine. I teach in the Half Hollow Hills School District Continuing Education Program and have spoken at Fortune 500 companies, wellness conferences, summits, retreats, community organizations, women’s groups, and on various health and wellness podcasts. I’ve been featured in VoyageLA magazine and other local publications.
I’ve transformed the lives of hundreds of professional women, guiding them to weight loss, energized living, and hormonal harmony. I’m also a fervent advocate for essential oils, utilizing their power for hormonal balance and overall health.
